LIFE UPDATE
Thank you for visiting my site.
If you do not follow my socials, you may not know what has been going on with me and my family, so I wanted to put an update here for everyone.
On 11/19/25, my 19 year old son was killed in a tragic accident.
I've taken a few orders since then, but they have proven to be very taxing for me to complete. So with this, I am going to be taking very minimal orders going forward this year. If you still see me posting regularly and I declined your order, know that those posts are older sets from the past that I'm sharing again.
I do not intend to close my business, I just need some time to grieve and find my balance again. I cannot say how long that will be, but in order to not loose my clientele and position in this corner of the market, I will still need to show up online. That is the current plan, but time will tell if I can even keep up with that.
I do believe that God will continue to guide me in this and will protect my business if that is the path He would like me to continue on.
If you pray, I would appreciate any and all prayers lifted up for me and my family as we go through this time.

Hi! My name is Jennifer Darling - and yes, Darling really is my last name!
I have been decorating cookies professionally since 2018, though my journey began as a Christmas tradition with my children. As a self-taught, celiac baker and decorator, I take pride in ensuring that all my creations are gluten-free, as my family and I have been living gluten-free since 2009. While the majority of my clientele may not have gluten restrictions, (and they can’t tell that my cookies are gluten free by the way), I am dedicated to accommodating those with food allergies, understanding how difficult it can be to find delicious desserts. In addition to gluten free, I also offer dairy-free, nut-free, corn-free, dye-free, and vegan options upon request. You will find that my pricing is competitive with others at a similar skill level ensuring quality and affordability, with no upcharge for gluten free.
I am based in northern Thornton, Colorado, and operate under the Colorado Cottage Law from my home. This law restricts me from shipping outside of Colorado, and as I do not offer delivery, with the exception of my Arvada location, all my cookies are available for local porch pick-up only. If you’re not nearby, feel free to ask a friend or family member to purchase and send them to you.
